By accessing our website or engaging our publishing, coaching, or editorial services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including our Privacy Policy. These Terms are supplemental to the detailed agreements issued to each client or author.
2. Definitions
“Author” – the legal owner or authorized representative of a written or multimedia work.
“Work” – any original content submitted for publishing consideration, including books, ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, and digital assets.
3. Service Scope
Next Page Publishing Inc. provides hybrid publishing services including but not limited to:
Manuscript evaluation and editorial services
Design, production, and distribution
Coaching, marketing education, and strategic support
Print-on-demand and digital publishing setup
Author branding and content development
We serve authors globally and operate out of Alberta, Canada.
4. Author Responsibilities & Rights
You affirm that:
You own the rights or have legal permission to publish your work.
Your submission does not infringe on third-party rights or contain illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.
You retain full copyright and intellectual property ownership of your manuscript. All publishing agreements issued by NPP are non-exclusive unless otherwise negotiated.
You are responsible for:
Acquiring necessary third-party permissions
Complying with tax laws in your jurisdiction
Ensuring the accuracy and legality of your content
5. Payment, Royalties & Refunds
Publishing and coaching services are billed per package, with add-ons available.
Royalties vary by platform and service type, ranging from 10–70% of net receipts.
Full fee schedules and royalty breakdowns are outlined in your author agreement.
Refunds or service cancellations are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Invoices must be paid in accordance with your contract. Delays may result in late fees, paused or cancelled services.
6. Service Guarantee & Limitations
While we aim to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, we cannot guarantee book sales, bestseller status, media features, or publishing success.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for a specific service. We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
7. Termination & Dispute Resolution
Either party may terminate services with written notice.
Termination before project completion may incur fees outlined in your author agreement.
Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Alberta, Canada, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
8. Ethical Standards
We reserve the right to reject or terminate projects involving:
Hate speech, violence, disinformation, or AI-generated manuscripts (as per our AI Use & Ethics Policy).
Unethical representation, ghostwriting for academic cheating, or any unlawful activity.
We reserve editorial and brand alignment discretion.
9. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your agreement to any updates.
